I reckon not much under a million is about right, Sturm does very well in the UK and Eddie knows this, anyone who thinks he would send his world champ to Germany for 250k is having a laugh.
You are indeed mistaken as that is how dates are verbally stated in Britain. Either way bit of a pointless discussion... who cares?
Thank you for telling us, actual British posters, how we speak. It's a shame that, as always, you are completely ****ing wrong.
Thats the crux of it Terry. Thing is I'm not so sure Sturm is shot at all. I think a lot of Sturms recent poor form is due to him skimping and cutting corners in training, rather than him being too old or 'over the hill'. The businessman/celebrity/media side of things had taken over. He got complacent. Its understandable. Remember he has been at the top a long time. I dont think Sturm is actually physically washed up. If he was how do you explain how sharp and deadly he looked in 2012 against Zbik and this year in his last fight versus Radosevic. I think its because he prepared properly for those two fights. A fit motivated Sturm, properly prepared, can probably still beat most middleweights in my opinion. I think he has been rudely awakened by being poorly treated by the judges in recent points decisions that have not gone his way. He has got his 'mojo' back, is 'up' for this one. He knows he has not got much time left, knows what he has to do to win, and knows that he has to win beyond any doubt from now on. Of course at 34 he has not got much time left, and he could age overnight. But I still feel that if he has any bit of freshness left he has too much for Barker.
