Just read this on WBN... http://www.*****.net/news/2013/10/04/wba-title-shot-for-haye-following-klitschko-v-povetkin.html Thoughts? Haye v Fury for WBA title? Haye getting a shot after Fury? Will the Haye Fury fight even happen?
Depends what Haye wants to do- either become WBA Champion (Ortiz shouldn't be much of a test) and play the long game (increased value because he is a belt holder) or fight Fury for massive short term gain. How on earth Haye is still No.1 with the WBA and Fury is only No. 15 is beyond me.
:blood Looks like when you held one of the WBA HW straps you'll be included to the circle jerk until you retire or even thereafter.
If Povetkin somehow pulls of a miracle and wins this fight then, i cant see haye v fury happening to be honest
Can't see how Haye can pull out of the fury fight again and retain any public support. Sky would never have him again, he loses the biggest payday out there for him and loses the rest of the public support he's worked so hard to build up
After Saturday, Povetkins WBA "regular" title becomes vacate so i'm guessing the Haye vs Fury fight could be for the "regular" WBA title. Its a joke belt anyway that means nothing just like the Quigg fight as well.
If pulling out of his last two (or is it three? four?) fights didn't hurt him in any way what's one more?
Although I believe he is physically capable of re-matching well, I don't believe he has earned it. Not that we the general public matter when it comes to what we want to see. Then again, I'd much rather see Haye re-match, before Fury makes a fool of himself against either of the WK brothers.
Im positive Haye wont tackle Wlad again. But then I thought Povetkin had a chance tonight.Be interesting to see Wlad with somebody he won't outreach,i.e. Fury.
Yeah, and not just outreach but he wont be able to man handle fury like he does the smaller guys. **** trying to manhandle/dirty fight a 6ft8 crazy ass gypsie. Its a tactic that obviously wins for him but I get frustrated just watching him get the dudes in a headlock type clinch.
that was absolutley appauling.all he did was grab and hold.181 clinches in 12 rounds?almost everytime wlad.the sooner this **** retires the better.hes more than good enough to win without all the bull**** holding and grabbing.
