Bull****, he went to the body against Ray Mercer years ago who's about the same same size as Pov.

Fact is, Wlad doesn't do it for fear of opening himself up to a counter shot.

You have a username with Tyson in it and you bad mouth body punching? Lol. His best combo was a right hook to the body, left to the head.
Going to the body does many things: makes fighters drop their hands for one, but it also alters the timing of another fighters breathing which makes him gas out quicker.

Exactly. When you mix your punches upstair and downstairs you are not as predictable. Catch an opponent downstairs when he is not expecting it and he might go down from a body punch. Throw punches to the body and hurt him and he will lower his hands allowing you for openings upstairs.

So you trying to say oscar de la hoya is not an elite boxer?

Mike Tyson's most famous knock out was a kidney shot on trevor berbick and it turned his legs to jelly, he could not even stand up.

Half of joe louis' knockouts start from body punches

Body punches slow a guy down or can knock him out completly. Only the top conditioned boxers as in top 1-4 guys in any division can get up from a body shot well placed.

Lots of guys don't know how to land a body shot properly

Body punching was not used by klitschko because he had used his size and physicality to beat povetkin, he stood at a distance jabbed the guy and then jumped on top of him like an octopus. Body punching would be effective for povetkin to use on klitschko. Had he drilled him enough to the body, klitschko would slow down and then he'd be able to move away from the jab. I can duck 10 head punches without moving my feet. I cannot duck many body punches without moving my feet. Had he gone to the body, instead of the head, he would have won. I saw times when Wlad was GROSSLY OPEN to the body and povetkin threw nothing or head shots. I saw times when klitschko had his 2 hands at eye level and elbows 2 inch below neck level with body more open than a kommunist korean konvenience store on khristmas and he still went for the head.

Kill the body and the head will fall. If you have a huge reach advantage then you may not need to throw to the body.

Ali 'No Blueprint' Raymi GOAT, disagrees with your pitiful statement, TS.

Wlad didn't need to go to the body because most boxers punch in the stomach, but he just leans on you and makes you lose energy. He's a disgrace.
