I'm sure he was supposed to be boxing on the Saunders/Ryder undercard??

 

Valily and Saunders fighting on Boxnation tomorrow.

Also, Wraith has some deal in place with Francis ****** and Saunders, Valilly and another boro prospect will be fighting in Gateshead Leisure centre on 22nd November

 

The North East has a lot of catching up to do.

The support is there, but as someone has already stated the area really needs a top drawer fighter.

 

The shows they had in recent years at the Newcastle arena always sold out pretty quickly.Would be great if someone came through & more big time boxing was on up there no doubt.

Question to the lads from that area I know the stadium of light Sunderland have had a show there recently showcasing the local talent any idea of the numbers it did?Billy Hardy was obviously well supported a few years back from that area.

Nigel Wright had a good following from Hartlepool shame he had to retire was due to fight Theophane from my area in London for the British title would of been a real 50/50 fight & talking to him at the time Theophane knew he would of been in for a tough night.

Truscott from Middlesborough as well large following all areas of the North East certainly have shown put the fights on & have a decent fighter to follow the support is definitely there.

Would like to see a real quality operator come through it's a area where if one can break through others will follow of that I have no doubt.

He has double crossed a few folk up here and there is a new kid on the block who will be putting a massive show on in december for his first show. Commonwealth title and a good undercard of local lads.

That's the one,we've got a few things to sort out but yes hopefully yes he going to be on, not sure of venue yet but will keep posted as soon as we know out mate.

Good luck to Mark Clauzel, looks like Centre for Sport, Westgate Rd on 7th December. Plenty of room for more promoters up North, keep the others on their toes!
After the Rainton Meadows show on 19th Oct the Steve Wraith/Francis W has some good names booked to fight and is on 22nd Nov at Gateshead Leisure Centre.
Rumours abound that Dave Garside may dip his toes back in promoting again also. If Maloney keeps going too there's a bright future for domestic boxing fans. Some good fighters such as Dickinson, Foot, Nelson, the Wards, Buchanan, etc and a few promoters looking to make some good domestic matchups.

 

There is some real good boxers coming through in the North East Glenn Foot and Bradley Saunders will be a cracking fight for North east fight fans in the future ,Kirk Goodings and Paul Truscott looks like it as the making of a classic ,Well done to Steve Wraith making that fight ,i read he manages all top lads from up North Good look to you lot .
