Right, all we can do is wait. As I understand it you see being dropped by Kidd as further substantiating that he was drained (even at 142), whereas to me it speaks to his resistance problems being innate and not correlating to weight.

If you turn out to be right and he ends up shrugging off big punches from real welters, you'll be getting props from me.

The IBF allows its champions to bypass mandos if they are fighting a unification bout instead.

I know that’s the case, but if Khan somehow beat Devon, he still has no guarantee that Floyd will give him the May date. Khan’s just hoping that’s the case, if Floyd fought Garcia in May, Khan would have no option but to fight Brook or vacate the title. According to reports, it seemed Khan was asking for the lion share of the purse and Alexander wasn't having it. Personally, Khan's doing the right thing by spending more time with Virgil, he isn't ready for Devon.

cotto moving up to 147 did wonders for his suspect punch resistance at 140. arum made reference to this as well.

but im like most people and believe that khan gets wrecked very quickly and will not be boxing professionally in two years(four fights).

Except Bradley didnt refuse to fight Khan to take on Pacquaio, he refused to take on Khan because he had a dispute with his promoter Gary Shaw. Pacquaio fight wasnt even in the negotiations until a year later and after Bradleys fight with Casamayor......Seems like the Khans obsessive haters have selective amnesia.

Khan was never that good to begin with, probably overachieved due to his limited abilities..........Just another over hyped Britisher.

Whatever he accomplished was due to Freddie Roachs input. So very silly decision getting rid of Freddie.

no the word duck is not subjective.

a duck is a duck... regardless if it's for personal gain or for the fear of losing.

a duck is avoiding a fighter, period - no ifs and buts.

Fighters always say they are feeling stronger at their *new* weight. And whether they are stronger or not, which is a probability that they are, doesn't translate into being more effective.

Very rarely does it turn out to be the case.
