Arum plugs some local Vegas BBQ joint.

You can actually see the drool trickling down and encrusting his wrinkled jowls after talking about beer and food so much. :yep

Fernando Beltran, promoter of Juan Manuel Marquez, gets up and thanks HBO, indirectly shitting on Showtime by promulgating their long history of excellent industry-leading ratings. He thanks Arum. He thanks Marquez's whole team including his S&C coach Guillermo Heredia. Beltran acknowledges there has been some controversy with Heredia's past and in the build-up here but is confident that everything is on the up and up.

Heredia briefly gets up (to virtually no fanfare) and reassures everyone that all commission requirements have been complied with and that protocols have included blood and urine.

Beltran introduces Nacho Beristain and says that if Marquez wins by knockout on Saturday he should be a lock for trainer of the year.

Beristain says the respect they have for Bradley doesn't affect their confidence in winning the fight.

Now it's Yoel Diaz's (trainer of Bradley) turn on the mic.

He says that Bradley is up for this, and that without overlooking Marquez and Nacho, in fact insisting they are honored to share the ring with them, he believes that right now Bradley has everything in his favor.

Marquez is spitting out his wicked fast dialect.

"...pelea muy importante..." - that's all I caught intelligibly that I don't need a translator for.

    (very important match)

Arum gets up and makes a crack about Marquez being flanked by the lovely Tecata ladies and looking good in between them but that if he were himself a few decades younger, even the handsome Dinamita wouldn't have a chance! :p

Bradley is up, first thing from his mouth is thanking God.

He then runs down the list: Top Rank, HBO, USADA, Nike apparel, the Wynn (he claims his suite is "AMAZING", and goes on to create a stir in the room by riffing "MGM Who?")

He saves his last thanks for Marquez and his team for stepping up. He says they are evenly matched and that he will have fun doing this and can't wait. He wants the world to be ready for a tremendous fight.

Doesn't remove the fact that Marquez Bradley is a more competitive fight compared to Floyd Vs Nelo and Pac Vs Rios... Matthysse Vs Garcia made Floyd Vs Nelo worth buying.
