Lewis says he will return to fight Klitschko

Lewis says things like this every once in a while. I think it is his way of reinforcing his self-delusion that he retired on his own terms.

You can't really blame him for it, though. Poor guy...this is going to eat at him the rest of his life.

Deep down he knows that he would not get back into the ring with the elder Klit under any circumstances.

 

Even at 48, and a decade outta the ring, if he spent 6 months in the gym he would be 50-50 against Vitali, who isn't much younger, injury prone, and very inactive, plus last time they fought VK left the ring with half his face looking like it went thru a meat grinder..

Wlad would only be a slight favorite because he's been active but i think LL has a good chance to kick his ass too only if Wlad is forced to fight and NOT hold him all night long like a long lost lover...

I actually think that if Lewis trained his ass off for 6-8 months, and got back to 245 or so, that even at his age he'd take Wladamir apart. Wlad has disgraced the HW division, and I'd like nothing better than to see him KTFO........and Lewis has the size and style to keep the human octopus from employing his usual tricks.

And power is the last thing to go, so LL would still bring his big right.....one of which wold be enough to put an end to Wlad's shambolic reign.
