Indeed, Stevenson is a one dimensional crude puncher. Tony Bellew is gonna outbox him, and maybe even smash his glass chin. Teach that idiot some proper manners.
Does Tony Bellew beat Adonis Stevenson? I don't think so, no. AS is a level above anyone he's fought before, barring maybe Clev who's not too far away but he lost that fight anyway. I think this will be similar to the Cloud and Dawson fights and basically look like a bit of a mismatch in the end. Good luck to Tony though, if he pulls it off I'd be seriously impressed and would forgive the Chilemba snoozefests.
What was all that dancing about and showboating Stevenson was doing in the cloud fight? If he does that against Tony he's getting taken out!
No. What has bellew done to say he could beat Stevenson? Jack! Dawson is a lot better than bellew, look what happened! Boxing is boxing one punch an all that but this looks a mismatch come end of November we shall see what happens!
Problem with Tony is he thinks of himself as some big puncher in fact he is not he is a average puncher.
Why feel the need to have a go at Haye in a "Does Tony Bellew beat Adonis Stevenson" thread .....WTF? To answer the OP, I think No. Stevenson stops him late. Nice to see TB popping in for an input aswell. My own personal view on Tony changes. I like the hard working Tony, the guy who dreams of becoming a world champion and who wants to put in the work etc. I dislike the Tony who almost tried to headbutt Chilemba after the bell went at round 1. Just looked like a ned in the ring. I also like him as a pundit too though.
Bellew doesn't even beat Stevenson in Bellews own dreams!!! fair fvcks to him though actually wanting the fight.i hope its a big payday for him because it may be his last big fight imho
Well aside from him being a big underdog and i honestly don't see it going 12, if it's close Stevenson will probly win it if it goes to the cards and is close, i mean Bellew is in his back yard and Stevenson is a big name in Canada now really Bellew needs a clear win and i'd be shocked if he wins
He probably won't get the decision over there if it goes twelve rounds, unless he absolutely pummels him. So for him to bring the belts back with him he's going to have to stop him or knock him out. Can he do that? I think he can, although I'm not essentially saying he will. Tony needs to stay switched on early, soak it up for three or four rounds then pick his moments from there on in. I want to see Stevenson react to a big punch, I can't remember the last time he was hit with a good one. One thing you can say about Tony is that he'll be in great shape for the fight, he'll give himself the best possible chance to do it.
I severely underestimated Stevenson. Although Bellew has done really well for himself, I am sorry he is in for a hard nights work if he gets in with Stevenson. With that said stranger things have happened.
