Sorry have I missed something everyone else hasnt? He lost to Manny and he just about hung onto his title against provodnikov The only way he gets a shot is because theres no other worthy contenders out there apart from garcia/pacman Even so I like Bradley, him vs Ruslan is my FOTY
i cant see anything to suggest why Bradley wins this fight...when Marquez hits him with one of them testosterone fueled right handers it will be lights out..
not even worth watching... if he fights money next... it's just not a money generator... interest is not there... does he deserve it? possibly
**** that,Marquez was shot to **** the man was so slow he looked like he was punching underwater at times. I think Garcia is more deserving than Bradley, just my opinion.
The only problem I have with that is in my head I think Bradley beats Garcia. But you know what they have both done a lot so both are deserving. Marquez did look slow, but it was more his feet than his hands for me. Bradley showed good movement both with the feet and the upper body. Marquez just couldn't get set. I would like to see Bardely in with Garcia.
He's got the best shot of any boxer at the moment of beating Floyd. He's got the speed, intelligence and skill to push Mayweather close anyway. His head movement and defense is top notch, thats why he beat both Pacman and Marquez. He took away their ability to land on him.
Lets get something straight here Tim Bradley did NOT beat Pacquaio,as much as people want to believe he did he was comprehensively beaten and got a gift.I had him losing to Ruslan Provodnikov by one round aswell. This win over an old and tired Marquez does not really say much,if he had of stopped Marquez well then yes it would definitely be impressive but he fought scared and didnt want to engage at any stage during the fight just pot shotting and stealing rounds. Garcias performance against a prime and game guy like Mattyhsse was much more impressive in my eyes,he beat the guy up and totally outclassed him using a combination of smart boxing and power punching.Something Bradley does not have his locker, this is boxing not a ****ing dance contest.
He did beat Pacquaio. I think Garcia is a very impressive fighter as well, I'd love to see him fight Mayweather as well. He'd put on a better show than Bradley but I dont think he's got as much chance of winning. It's a fight i would like to see though.
Manny outlanded Bradley 253-159 in total punches and had a 190-108 edge in power shots landed. Manny outlanded Bradley in 10 of 12 rounds. You need to **** off and watch another sport if you think Bradley won that fight.
Do you base all your opinions on Compubox numbers? You do know that Compubox is done by a couple of guys are ringside and can be completely inaccurate. I'm not interested in getting involved in any back a back and forth argument over this. IMO it was a close fight, i scored it a draw at the time. Pacquiao underperformed, didn't fight for 3 minutes of any round and couldn't land his signature left. Bradley did well with his higher work rate and making Manny miss with his great movement (even though casual fans couldn't tell that Manny was missing, Jim Lamply especially). Bradley got the nod in a close fight, it's not that big a deal really. I would have liked a rematch but it is what it is. Either way, I think Bradley is a good fighter and would be a decent opponent for Floyd.
I know how compubox works you moron but when the stats are that ****ing far apart how can you ignore it.I base my opinions on effective fighting, ring generalship and which fighter is landing the cleaner more effective punches, normally I wouldnt use compubox as an example but **** me Bradley was so inactive it was pathetic,I mean Manny landed nearly double the punches.Bradley spent half the fight posing and moving around the ring trying to get away from Manny, you may call that high work rate but Id call it doing absolutely nothing. Now seriously Ill ask you again. You really think Bradley won that fight??
