Trying to think. We got Firat Arslan v Marco Huck and David Haye v Tyson Fury, anything else for definite? What do you think we will see/might see?

Jean Pascal v. Lucian Bute on January 18. Mayweather will definitely fight on Cinco de Mayo weekend again, I think. W. Klitschko v. Pulev is tentative for 2014. The return of Sergio Martinez, against Golovkin maybe? Chavez-Vera II?!!

Technically we should see Vitali/Stiverne next year once Vitali recovers but it would not surprise me if Vitali just retires. I don't think boxing is his priority anymore.

Plus, how he gonna get motivated for Stiverne at this point?

Golovkin-Martinez would be a bit of a dream.

I heard Deontay Wilder was also angling for a shot at the WBC belt, supposedly. Even though Stiverne has the legitimacy(?) of being the official WBC mandatory.

Honestly, I think they're all just hoping Vitali retires and the WBC becomes vacant. Might be for the best. Like Brighton Bomber said, I don't think boxing is really in Vitali's purview anymore.

But I don't see how Martinez could get away with not fighting him? Even if he takes a soft touch for his comeback, Golovkin is the elephant in the room (err, division) that will eventually have to be dealt with, right? MW is somewhat thin as it is, so unless Martinez intends to either retire and send the whole "lineal championship" deal to hell, or seek a fight against a LMW like Cotto or Alvarez (something Golovkin has been routinely crucified for doing this year), it's hard to imagine a Golovkin fight not happening sometime in the future.

That's the way I see it, anyway.

I mean a dream fight. Not a dream beyond happening. But there's many a slip between a cup and a lip.
