Was Marquez robbed with Norwood and Chris John? I never saw either fight but Marquez says that he was robbed. I think that Marquez was inexperienced when he fought Norwood.

The John fight was not a fight but a feint fest. They both deserved to lose.

    JMM lost to Norwood

He surely wasn't robbed against Chris John. I remember scoring it twice and both times had John winning. People had Marquez winning as well, but it was definitely not a robbery. Much like a close fight that leaned towards home fighter.

Marquez vs Norwood was a robbery, I can't comment on the John fight since I didn't see it.

What is a robbery? Why are close fights considered robberies by certain people? Marquez has 6 close fights, and he was robbed in each one? Whatever.

Against Norwood, it was even up until the championship rounds. Both floored each other.
With John, John only fought for 10 seconds of each round and was also even until Marquez picked,it up in the late rounds landing combinations John had no answer for he was just surviving. Close fights, but Marquez CLEARLY won, tho it also showed he struggled more with technical or speedy fighters that preffered to box or play it safe. But I think he came up short vs Bradley, he was putting it on Timmeh late, way too late and should of fought that way from the beggining.

I don't wanna be disrespectful, but here is what I think: if you just watch a fight and you don't score it and you just listen to the commentators, then you cannot say for sure who won the fight. Happened to me with Marquez-Pacquiao III: I watched it live, listened to the biased HBO commentary, and after the fight I felt "Mmmh, did Pacquiao really win it? Looked more like a draw to me".
Then I rewatched it and actually SCORED it, and I had Marquez winning clearly by 4 or 5 points.
And I believe those people who post here that Chris John or Norwood beat Marquez, have never scored the fight. Maybe they watched it a few years ago, but I do not believe that they actually scored it. Because I did watch both of those fights this week and I scored both of them and I had Marquez winning both of them pretty clearly.

It's the curse of being a proud champion...
Only defeat they will except is getting KTFO.

Ask Hagler, Hopkins ect... About it.
(Juan is cut from the same cloth)

He definitely beat Norwood, who didn't have effective aggression but was spoiling all night, and the credit for the knockdowns was all kind of jacked up as well. Easy fight for Juan, except for actually getting into engagement range. John is another story, close fight but I favor Marquez.
