proving that you have don't know what Quixotic means either.

Its impressive that someone can be so lost as to write 'you just got owned' as a reply to an argument they lost by way of the exact words of their idol that they are trying to defend. Akin to giving your house keys to the man who slept with your wife.

Irony is another description for it.

Very conceivable he has a hard time with Calzaghe. All depends on which James Toney shows up to fight. The guy was a true enigma.

Calzaghe COULD outwork Toney... DEPENDING on which Toney shows up. But honestly, Calzaghe's success is at a range which Toney would have no problem with making him miss, look foolish, and pay with hard shots. If they are at their best, then I would pick Toney. Calzaghe would have to give a different look, use his legs, and stay out range. At SMW Toney could balloon up between fights, he always had weight problems, as he was naturally like 200+ lbs when he played football in high school. So making him work, by working outside of the range that Toney is common too, will sap him faster, and Calzaghe will have greater success. But Calzghe really doesnt fight like that and I am not sure if he is capable of it. For instance, if RJJ fought Toney in his range, and stayed in mid range, throwing a load of punches like Calzaghe does, chances are he would have loss and probably been stopped. Making Toney work for it, and sticking to your game plan and not naking the mistake that Nunn did later in the fight, one can outbox Toney.

Come on man, do you really think he didn't know TWICE? And of course he had a say, it was his body.

yeah Calzaghe could definitely throw a lot more, he had a tiptop engine room. but they just wouldn't be landing or scoring.

Toney threw a lot of punches as well. And countered very well. This idea that you can just "outwork" Toney is laughable. Ask Vasily Jirov, who was far bigger and stronger than Joe C.

yeah I don't get how Zaghes nuthuggers claim you can just beat someone by outworking them. That only works on old timers who no longer keep up after a certain amount of rounds, if one is that cowardly to face old timers that is.

Load of rubbish, he was up in 3 seconds, not on shaky legs and didnt have to hold to survive and didnt just tie him up.

    T Littles?
You have to look at the whole thing Loudon. When was Calzaghe ever put on a ban? Never. That in itself leaves many question marks.
    When did Calzaghe lose? Never
Then look at the losses and draws

Calzaghe - No losses or draws, just wins
Toney - S Williams draw, M McCallum draw, R Jones loss, M Griffin loss x2, D Thadzi loss, Ruiz NC and why was it a no contest Loudon?,
I will leave that there and dont forget the Tiberi SD

Now lets look at these wins of Toney and tell me what he did at SMW and LHW where Calzaghe fought and tell me who Toney beat to make you think he can compete with the greatest SMW ever.
Now also tell me who Toney beat that you think were as good as Eubank, Jones or Hopkins.
In fact tell me what were Jirovs 5 best wins when you note him as a top win and please do the same for T Littles

Tell me how Eubank had to change his diet when I read he often made weight late on. Consider there was a rumour I heard that Calzaghe was over 14 stone on the week of the Jones fight.
what difference does the end of career make? Spinks was at the end of his career when he fought Tyson. J Watt when he lost his world title and retired, so was that not a good win for his victor?
Many fighters have had injections before fights. Calzaghe had bad hands before he turned pro.
Calzaghe agreed to the fight and a different fighter at 11 days notice. You dont read all this about V Klitschko and L Lewis or H Simon and W Alexander.
When did Eubank before Calzaghe ever get stopped like Cotto did or take as much punishment and also Cotto lost his fight after Mayweather, so if Cotto retired after his loss to trout would that devalue Floyds great win?

Tell me about how Toney got a draw with S Williams or the SD with Tiberi or the loss to Thadzi.

Calzaghe was due to fight Echoles. McIntyre was a late sub for Echoles on the Tyson/Nielson undercard.
    Get it right Mr Plebb
