Orlando Salido vs. Vasyl Lomachenko

It was Albert Selimov an experience Russian who gave him his only loss in the ams but Loma avenged it twofold.

 

But he did land several times. Rigondeaux's chin just wasn't butter soft, like many of you thought.

 

Donaire never tagged Rigo with anything but singular shots.

I do not get the rush. Why not give the guy a few learning fights before throwing him in the frying pan?

 

I agree that Lomachenko needs a little bit more pro experience. It doesn't matter against who, he just needs to get some routine. If he fights Salido next, it's a bit risky, I'm sure Loma wins the fight though.

 

Is Salido on PEDs for the fight?

 

Hmmmm. Didn't know that.

Anyway, Lomachenko is hardly your standard 1 fight pro, but still, anyone else think Salido could be too much, too soon?

 

Imo although he is a great potential is too soon for him. Maybe im wrong,but Salido is a hardened seasoned warrior.

 

What you think IB? Salido's body punching looking very scary last Saturday and Lomachenko seems most open there.

He could use a Gamboa type gameplan and use his feet to box circles around him, but at the same time, could come out looking very good and get worn down from never going past 5 rounds and fighting a tough, relentless professional.

 

Those hooks are too wide and too slow for a boxer with the speed and movement of somebody like Lomanchenko.

Some of you think that Salido is all the wrong sort of style for Lomanchenko (rough him up, take him deep in the fight etc) but his style is actually tailor made for a classy amateur who is a great judge of distance, has excellent footwork and clearly has pop!

Okay, so Salido's pressure will be more educated than Lomanchenko's first opponent but I just think that we saw the real deal on Saturday night/Sunday morning.

You can't really call this one with any guarantee because of the short pro career of Lomachenko so far, very excited. If i had to go one way or the other i would pick Salido as he is underrated and this fight might be too soon for Lomachenko who does look like a special talent but has never faced anybody has tough and relentless and sometimes even dirty as Salido before.

If Lomachenko wins, especially if he dominates or gets a stoppage then i'll be really really impressed.
