it was really nice to see nacho and joel actually instructing and coaching their fighters...not just "you gotta throw more ****en punches"...or " you gotta move" it was like a ****en canvas, and they were both trying to paint their masterpiece with real instructions....I love that **** :happy:happy reason why I hate weak ass coaches like henry Ramirez who just got blessed with having tough fighters (arreola and lopez) but don't know a thing about boxing or giving instructions.....dudes like that are glorified spit bucket holders....
and ramirez dont suck you just dont know ishh about boxing. not all great trainers are great corner men the real work is done in the gym not the 1 minute break between rounds.
Freddie Roach to Amir Khan, can't remember which fight, Khan was getting splattered, his plans were not working, he comes back to the corner, heavy breathing and looking lost, he looks up at Freddie with big deer eyes waiting for instruction. 20 seconds goes past and Freddie says. "Amir do you want a drink of water".
chris arreola barely started doing roadwork about a year and a half ago...is that a great trainer in your eyes ?
