    Don't blame Derry.

I think he was next for Mitchell, and even as a fan of Derry, I don't see him beating Mitchell.

So a defeat to Mitchell, where does he go from there? What options does he have? Very few.

So signing with FW, he has the guarantee of a 5 fight deal and I imagine FW will have enticed him with a path to a European title shot within that deal.

How anyone slag him for signing here for more money? That's what he's in the game for, it's his job. Personally I think Derry is nearing the end of his career fast, he's had a lot of wars and his speech is starting to slur and he has aged a lot IMO. He needs to earn what he can and retire while his health is ok.

how did he go about it? I dont know to much about what happened, apart from Coldwell mentioned on his twitter he knew nothing about. If Derry didnt let him know before he signed thats obviously wrong.

That's exactly what happened. Coldwell found out via twitter.

if thats the case why is Dave piping up on twitter (i thought he was with Coldwell TBH). If hes not his fighter its got nothing to do with him.
