I put my hand up to fight Blake, he is a professional athlete who plays contact sport at the highest level and trains full time under the top sports coaches and conditioners..

I am a 32 year old 100kg baggage handler who has never had an amateur or pro boxing fight but have had a few kickboxing fights 10 years ago..

I dont train right now and currently work 16 hours a day, thought id be the perfect candidate but after making several enquiries either wasnt replied to or was told they were looking for someone less experienced lol

    FARCE!

Nah mate no good, $10k is the bounty I'm thinking first fighter that says il make Blake look good will get nod. Think bout it, journeyman looking for a payday, plus potential for extra few thousand from sponsor would definitely take bout.

I have no issue with anyone fighting but they need to be put in with someone decent. What I do object to is a PROFESSIONAL highly paid athlete being put in with a part time non pro fighter or, as often happens, someone who is out of shape and obviously not up for it (aka a punching bag)
If he's fighting at heavyweight someone like Shane Tilyard would be ok, at Cruiser someone like Mark Flanagan, Shane Quinn or Joel Shackleton.

All those guys would beat Blake senseless. Shane was originally slated to fight Aloua.

But Boxrec has Aloua fighting someone else on the card now. The referee will stop this the minute it looks like getting too dangerous for either fighter. This is not a real fight it's just a publicity stunt(that's working).

This is the issue I have, the fact that he's debuting on such a showcase card, with only a few weeks of training. Have a few fights on smaller cards and earn ur spot.

These circus acts don't have to do that, they do what they want and when they are put in a position when they have to fight a real fighter - they run scurrying back to rugby and claim they want to concentrate on that.

Sonny Bill is the same, got a title beating up on has beens and now a young, hungry fighter in Parker wants a shot at the title, all the sudden Sonny Bill wants to concentrate on rugby.

  8. At least we got spares this rubbish.
