Alvarado-Ruslan reminds of Garcia-Matthysse

    This fight kinda of reminds of Matthysse and Garcia. Everybody on Matthysse because he has power and looked good his last fight but Garcia is the better boxer (Like Mike) the champ (like Mike) and most people are picking Ruslan by KO because they feel he cant win a decision and people say dont worry about because he'll get KO (like they said about Garcia when I said what happens if it goes the distance.

    Its pretty wild the comparsions if u think about it. Well like I told everybody last month, that Garcia was gonna beat the crap out of Matthysse, Mike will beat the crap out of Ruslan!! To Much hype because of his last fight.

    Hes a decent fighter whos got some power but Mike has got some serious boxing skills and good power himself. He doesnt want to get into a war but he will at some point in front of his fans and its going to get wild! He can bang and Ruslan will disappear after this one.

    $600 on it -120 so I'll win $500 for a total of $1100!! Like I said in another thread, gonna be another wild night in Lovely Las vegas!! :bbb:bbb:bbb

    So u dont think He can win a decision right? well if he has to win by KO its not happening, and I got money on that. im preety sure u thought Matthysse would KO garcia too right? same thing, Ruslan cant outbox Mike so its a wrap

    I dont see how this is way different. U do think Mike is the better boxer right? But you also think Ruslan will win by KO right? sounds like the exact same predictions for the Garica-Matthysse fight.

    The wars for Mike only mean he knows what to do when it happens. Ruslan got in a war his last fight and faded thru the middle rounds. Mike hits alot harder then bradley, I'll be very surprised if Ruslan wins.

    I guess we shall see but I expect to be partying hard Saturday night.

    I believe Alvarado will be tasting the canvas, whether he gets up or not and wins a decision i don't know,. I feel this will be a great fight, much better than JMM vs bradley last week.

    If i had to go one way or another i would slightly edge towards Ruslan by TKO.

    Indeed^. Mike is the favourite and Provo is admired but getting nothing close to the hype Lucas was. In fact the sober consensus is that it's a pretty even fight with Alvarado being more skilled but Ruslan just being a tough MFer.

    The DSG - Lucas fight really polarised opinion, whereas Mike vs Ruslan.... hasn't.

    In short, no, the fights have nothing like the same build up and atmosphere, not least when there's pictures out there of Ruslan and Mike horsing around with GGG and having a laugh together.

    dog alvarado is no where near as good as garcia and the russian is probably as good as mathysse. do the math

    Provodnikov was fighting on Friday Night Fights for a reason, he is no good. Alvarado should win this easily.
