I hope he still has some left. He sould definitely take a light touch. I feel like all the fights ive seen him in are tough fights and Im talking about the ones before Rios as well. Hes a really cool guy, I was looking for his interview after the fight but I couldn't find it. I wouldn't be surprised if he gave Ruslan his props and didn't make excuses.

Rios will take a worse beating at the hands of Manny Pacquiao.

He could be. Many thought Bradley wouldn't be the same, and he came back better then ever somehow. Will come down to genetics, his mind, and how he lives his life outside the ring, imo. Its very possible hes not ruined.

Well at least Bradley won and kept an undefeated record so that helped keep his motivation

Alvarado got dominated and forced to quit on his stool in front of his home town. It's very possible that he won't be the same

Its more then possible he wont be the same, its almost probable. But if he came back as good as ever after this wont surprise me either.

he needs a long break, till late spring. then assess where he wants to go. One thing for certain, he deserves top of the line paydays. The kid is a true warrior!

Ruslan just sent that nicca to Friday Night Fights. No doubt he needs some tune ups. Although that he claimed he was gonna send Ruslan back to FNF's.

Honestly I never fancied his chances in this match up because I felt it would become an attritional war which would play to Prodonikov's strengths. I like Alvarado and hope he can come back from this but he may not be the same after this"

Whilst Provodnikov beat the snot out of Mike, Mike looked just gaunt and didn't react well to taking well placed shots. I think he might've been badly drained.

Props to Provodnikov though, but Mike isn't done, he should take a long lay off and get back at 147lbs and test his craft.

If Mike gets straight back onto the horse, at 140lbs.. then I think he could suffer some more damage.
But really, all respect for Mike Alvarado, he took a vicious beating and could've quit when he was put down twice, but he kept on fighting. ALL HEART.
