While not a particularly big fan of lady's boxing I say let them fight.

Don't worry about birth givers. They are all dykes anyway.

We need to ban male boxing. That's what we need to ban.

Funny how guys are trying to shame in the thread calling others misogynists like their feminist counterpart.
I have no doubt most of the women in the trade are butches .
The fish smell just doesn't belong in the ring.

This thread is a disgrace, what should we discuss next? Is the indian a man or an animal? Is the black man really fit for anything else than hard labour? Or how about the great jewish conspiracy?

People sometimes claims that boxers and boxing fans are uneducated brutes, i usually disagree but i might have to reconsider.

Your words are not very surprising to me. I think due to a woman's placement in society that they naturally approach male-orientated activities much more seriously then men would/do. I have heard the same for women entering the military...but at the end of the day nobody can deny that the men are the better soldiers in the field..just like men are better boxers. Women from the get-go know that they are coming in to the sport at a disadvantage, this causes them to be more focused and try harder at becoming better. I don't deny they are better on the student/teaching side but when it comes to the the sport of boxing they just can't perform at the same level...not their fault...its nature.

I see a lot of the girls using good form but the problem is that they are slower and not punching hard so it makes the fight very difficult to get in to. Watching in person is cool, but as far as televised events who wants to see to slow soft punchers fight regardless if man or woman? Thats the formula for the worst fight ever, snoozefest. I think it should be kept away from television because it makes the sport less appealing to the public because the caliber of fighters and what type of fights they yield are below average.

Agreed. Nothing against women but they weren't designed for this type of sport. They do participate and I have seen a few "good" women's boxing matches BUT most weren't great and none were epic. There are men who fight at a much higher level that don't even make it to any televised fights so why should two chicks who are fighting much further beneath what the public considers a good fight? There are a lot of things men are not designed to do that women can do. Not the end of the world...

the trouble is you are comparing womens boxing with mens. If womens boxing was the prevalent form, you'd be accepting of it. This is not feminist, its simply that you are comparing male and female physical traits. You need to learn to judge womens boxing on its own merits. Well you don't need to, but to enjoy it you would be advised to.

Women fight different, just like flyweights fight different from HWs. 2 slow fat HWs look boring compared to two flys going at it all night, but no one calls for east euro fatboys to be banned from boxing.
