Andre Ward refusing vada testing rumor

    Anybody hear this rumor, I think it's bull but it's been doing the rounds.

    I have read about it in the American boxing media and it appears to be the truth. Ward will only fight in his home town with his personal referee and judges.................Stevenson called out Ward, but Ward won't even answer him................

    VADA is not a mandatory body... you don't "refuse" their testing as there is no obligation on a fighter to use them. By this logic, the vast majority of fighters have refused. What VADA and the fighters who work with them are doing is admirable, but they are expensive (by necessity as their tests are more stringent and thry test year-round) and there is no great motivation for fighters to use them.

    Why don't people realise Vada is voluntary if Andre doesn't step forward to take part in it well then that's up to him,if it was compulsory well then a thread might be worth making but as far this goes who gives a ****.
