he was probably having trying to give his family a better life, trying to become a champion so he could get the fat paydays or his family was having fiancial issues, thats the life of a boxer, I cant help to feel bad about his family, probably he had small kids...

This was just horrible to watch. You could see him slipping away in the corner while the cornerman just kind of cradled his face. After leaving the ring on a stretcher like he did in a previous fight he never should have been allowed to fight again. So sad.

If you look at his eyes when hes in the corner you can basically see his brain shutting off, extremely disturbing

Thats what I saw too. I'm still spooked by it. I live in the philly area and there was an article in the paper today that Augie Pantellas is going to fight a 4 round fight at 70 to make the guniness book of records or some nonsense. Promoted by scumbag Damon Feldman. After seeing this I hope the commission puts a stop to this right now. I've seen boxers die before but never like this with the camera right in his face. It was horrible

FWIW, Pantellas actually fought in Celebrity Boxing four years ago when he was 65. He scored a 2nd round KO even with headgear on. :conf
