Best tactic against Wlads holding?

I would just keep pointing it out over and over pre fight. At the weigh in and press conferences. An just before you touch gloves. Then if he did it 1st time I'd threaten to get out the ring too the ref. An then if he kept doing it, i'd do an illegal fowl like a punch in the balls or a headbutt etc.

 

I'd kiss him in the mouth while putting my hands on his ass. Russians are so homophobic that he wouldn't try to hug me again.

If he'd going to bend the rules with constant clinching, then hit him low, hit the back of the head, forearm to the throat... hell, bite him if you can get away with it. I dont really understand why his opponents dont come up with a game plan to stop him doing it, he does the same things every fight, yet no one tries anything different.

 

I'm sure if he had to fight on the inside he would learn, he hasn't incorporated it into his style because he does not need to.

I am going to give Wlad the benefit of the doubt. he had to be very ill against povetkin..you just dont go to hold without throwing a punch . So I think there has to be something more to this because of his performance. but the camp are keeping tight lipped.
Wlad had the flu there can be no other explanation.

 

body shots on the way inside would eventually stop wlad from holding as much and make him box more...then you would have to be able to deal with his boxing ability which is also very very good...

sanders didnt fight the many version of wlad...wlad tried to attack sanders got countered and couldnt recover.

They could make it a complaint pre fight and during the fight so the referee will more likely address the issue.
