the man clearly needs to work on his defense, he nearly got overpowered early on.


almost reminds me of when Wlad got KOed fast by Corri Sanders, although of course Corrie was a lesser opponent being older and lighter than Firtha, and that was for the world title for some odd reason despite being a weaker opponent.

The other big difference is that Wlad got KOed in 2 (by a weaker opponent, which should shut up the klitlikers )

Corrie Sanders was 42-4 with 31 KOs, Firtha is 21-11 with 8 KOs.
Sanders was a gatekeeper level fighter, who had a lightning quick straight left and was a very good counterpuncher.
Firtha is hardly journeyman level.

Wilder wasn't hurt by that jab last night. it was down to him having poor balance and having no sense of distance at all. the jab pushed him back on his heels, but he didn't wobble.

i'm not saying that Wilder is able to take a good shot, because we've seen him down as a Pro and in the Ams. but it would take more than what Firtha did to drop him.

he does need to step up. and now. no more bull****.
