They have been dominant for a decade, it will be rare to see two brothers dominating the heavies for a long long time now. Will you miss them?

even though i like to watch Vitali fight, i won't miss the level of opposition he faces. they're a bit crud. apart from a few here and there.

i won't miss Wlad one bit. it will be a great day for everyone when he decides to leave. what he does in the ring is not boxing, it's just plain offensive. so it will be good riddance when the time comes.

I wont miss them one bit. They have killed HW boxing with spoiling tactics save contracts and **** poor matchups that a debutant would blush at

    Yes and no.

Once they have both retired the division will be more entertaining as the division will have opened up and will not be so overwhelmingly dominated by them. We'll hopefully see the top contenders matched up against one another for the vacant titles and other contenders get braver and make better fights.

But the quality of the fighters we will have left will not be as good as the Klitschko's. Fact is anyone who holds a title after will be compared to the Klitschko's and everyone will know they only hold the titles because the Klitschko's are no longer there. The division will be a mess and over shadowed by the Klitschko's until one fighter can unify the titles.

Would rather see somebody take the title from them (hate the way you need to say 'them' now, they've turned the heavyweight title into the tag team championship...) but although I like them and think they are superb fighters and ATG's, I don't think style wise they are particularly good for boxing.

If they retired now the division would be truly shocking - the worst it's ever been. But hopefully eventually somebody who can dominate and is a bit more fan friendly & exciting would emerge.

I don't even view heavyweight boxing as boxing anymore. It's almost like a separate sport in my mind. The tactics are different, the fights are slower, everyone in it is always out of shape.

    I'll miss them.

The two greatest ever heavyweights. It's sad that they're careers won't be recognised due to bitter yanks letting racial bias and xenophobia cloud their judgement. I am glad that yank crying is going to continue after the Klitschkos retire though, given the "great black hope" is a glass jawed FRAUD.

    Spoken like a true racist

  10. I will miss them. They are the greatest boxers in Heavyweight besides Prime Mike Tyson and they kicked everyones ass and turned the USA into a MMA country. Those brothers wrote history and they are gentlemen.

Right now, we have a duo of superb athletes ruling the sport, with WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO/Ring belts all in the hands of one man.

When they retire, there will be a guy holding each part of the belt, and they will all call themselves "the heavyweight champion". There will be a british champ (fury), an american champ (Areolla), and a Russian champ (Povetkin/Boytsov).

And I will quit watching hw boxing forever, or at least until Magomed starts knocking these guys out and collecting the belts, one at a time.

one good thing with the klitschkos is that they always are in great shape. bad thing is they suck, and what worse is, is that the type of wilders going to get his hands on a papertitle. something he would never even dare try if wlad was around.

say what you want about klits but there has not been anyone better last years. i guess that says a lot more about the rest of the fighters

It will be sad to see them go because they have been around for so long now, it will seem wrong when it doesn't have them listed as champions and there is somebody else.

I can't wait. I would obviously enjoy seeing Wlad dethroned, and utterly destroyed before retiring. Though, it's highly unlikely. With a division full of no talent's and has been's from decades past. It's just too easy for the brothers to dominate. I feel once they are gone, things will become much more competitive and interesting again.
