Bradley says he's a Hall of Famer

No he's one of boxing true pieces of **** and his behavior outside the ring means he shouldn't be inducted.

 

He's not a Hall of Fame worthy fighter as of right now but I think once his career is over he'll have a legitimate case. Timothy Bradley has faced and beat the best for the last couple of years and that has to count for something.

If Timothy Bradley keeps improving with the same trajectory he's been going on for the past couple of years I don't see why he couldn't be considered a Hall of Fame fighter.

Decisioning a 40yo Marquez and getting a gift against Pac shouldn't guarantee you a spot in the hall of fame. He has a solid resume over all, but he still has a way to go. For instance, if he were to lose to Pac and Ruslan in rematches, it would definitely have an impact on his legacy. That being said, the Hall of Fame really lowered their standards when they inducted Gatti and ****ing Rocky Balboa.

 

That same Marquez he decision KO'd pacquiao a few months earlier and that same Pacquiao you mentioned won't even whisper in Bradley's direction unless he has no other choice. Fans nowadays are getting ridiculous C/D-level guys like Rios are praised and A/B-level guys like Bradley are discredited its no wonder these hypejobs get exposed every other day they get these high ranking beating absolute nobodies get all the praise for being "exciting" while the actual skilled fighters with great resumes are toted as boring for being too good for the most part.

Also to thoses who still disrespect Bradley for the Pacquiao win if you wanna see what a fighter that thinks he won looks like look at Marquez. People call Marquez a cry baby because he wants an immediate rematch with Bradley isn't that what REAL champs do instead of trying to wait years hoping for your opponent to slow down.

His win over Miguel Vasquez looks more impressive today than it did then.

He followed it up with a string of nice wins, then a 3 stretch fight with undefeated fighters Peterson, Abregu and Alexander who had a combine record of 77-0.

Then after some time off he stops Casamayor who was only stopped once before by JMM. The comes the fight with Pac and wins over Provo and JMM. The win over Provo may look better in 3 years than it does now.

Throw in Witter, Cherry, Holt, Campbell, its impressive as any in today's fight game.

He has to beat Provodnikov an Pac conclusively in rematches to even come close (losing to Pac can be forgiven if he beats a bunch of other people though). If he does the same with JMM then he's ready for consideration. As of now his signature win is against a 40yr old who really might be a long way past his best. Once he takes care of his rematches he needs some signature wins against his contemporaries like Mayweather, Alvarez, Cotto, Garcia, Matthysse, Khan, Brook, Thurman, etc.

 

The Hall of Fame is about FAME. Arturo Gatti was and still is more famous than Timothy Bradley. So yes, Gatti belongs in the Hall of FAME.
