While I'm not sure Wlad's handspeed is faster than Wlad's it's certainly not that much slower to make a huge difference. I am not getting where people are seeing this crazy hand speed for Wilder. It looks average to me.

Wilder = Hurt by a jab from Firtha and dropped by Harold Sconiers

Wlad - No loses since 2004 and hasn't been knocked down since 2005.

Let's not let facts get in the way of a good argument though.

Hurt by a jab? Yeah, he was just knocked off balance.

Wlad is a bad fighter, a cheat. The povetkin fight proved it.

Eastern Europeans are bad for the H.W divison.

Yeah, filling those 50,60, 70 thousand seat stadiums and breaking tv records in the region is really terrible.

This makes me seem like I dislike Wilder and I'm a Wlad lover, but neither of those are true it's just this argument - in my eyes at least - is terribly misleading and not including facts, most likely because they aren't known by the arguing party.

Boxing is a world sport. I'm a "yank" and I have the wherewithal to see that and accept it.

Technically anyone can beat anyone but Wilder aint gonna beat Wlad, it doesn't matter that he has a slight reach advantage because Wlad knows how to move so them couple of inches aren't gonna make any difference. Wlad would move in jab jab jab and move out and when wilder went hurtling forward flailing his arms around wlad would make him look stupid just like Haye did in sparring and Haye has a lot less reach than both of them but wlad beat Haye, wilder was getting battered around by Haye in sparring.

Unfortunatenly, the media do not like EE H.W's, and so this is bad for boxing.

Wlad doesn't have the power to put Wilder away early.

Wlad doesn't have any heart and doesn't have a chin.

Wilder will connect on Wlads jaw and once he does the fight is over.

    Wilder wins.

What media? American media? So what? Boxing Media has been dying in America long before the EE domination. By the early 2000's barely any newspapers had a regular boxing writer and now zero - that's right zero - have regular boxing contributors on staff. This has nothing to do with Eastern Europeans being good at boxing. There are a lot of things it has to do with, but this is a boxing thread and not a money in media thread/dying print media so we will leave it at that for now.

Do you not remember Lewis vs Tyson? It was one of the biggest heavyweight clashes of all time, around the world it was global.

Klitschko's are killing boxing, someone like Wilder would do Boxing good.

If I strain my brain I think I can remember 2002. Again, boxing is global. Wlad fights to HUGE numbers in Europe, both money wise and TV ratings wise. It is hardly the fight of EE that boxing is doing fine over there while it's hurting in the USA. I mean, should we just hand the belt to Wilder or another American fighter. Do you think this will make boxing OK again? Boxing does fine numbers over there, sorry it isn't lining the pockets of guys like Arum and King anymore and instead thriving here.

Povetkin could't even KO Firtha, Wilder could. Povetkin is a joke.

Dude, Lewis-Tyson was massive EVERYWHERE. It was the last big H.W Superfight, everyone was watching that fight.

IF Wilder wins, it would thrive in America, Canada and the UK. EE's could get used to Wilder anyways.
