At the age of 23, who was more impressive against Paulie- Khan or Broner?

    Did Broner beat Mallignaggi better than Khan did? Yes or no. Because that's what this poll is about. Not who would beat who if you could have the 23 year old versions of Khan and Broner fight each other.

    Though, on that subject, the case can be made that Broner lost to Quintero, Ponce De Leon and Mallignaggi as each fight was close and his opponent had a viable case for having done enough to deserve the win. Given the fact that Khan beat a younger Mallignaggi far easier than Broner did then I wouldn't have any confidence in Broner's ability to "school" him under any circumstance - Broner might just edge it in a hypothetical fight but he's not good enough to school a fighter of Khan's calibre as he proved when he struggled with Quintero, Ponce De Leon and Mallignaggi.

    No it asks if it was more impressive. Jumping up 2 weight divisions and taking on the welterweight champion is more impressive than anything Khan has yet achieved.

    I didn't vote.

    Of course he did better. When Khan jumps up to light middle and takes on the world champion and wins then perhaps he'll be on equal footing.

    :lol: 'the' welterweight champ

    He won it off Senchenko, who bought the title (yes, bought it), then he retained it by robbery against Pablo Cesar Cano. A man who either side lost to the totally shot duo of Erik Morales and Shane Mosley

    Then Paulie still argubably beat Broner!

    I bet this is one of the friggin idiot *****'s who argued that Pacquiao jumping two weigh classes to DESTROY De La Hoya wasn't impressive because De La Hoya wasn't at his best too.

    Jumping two weigh classes isn't that impressive when your a 10 to 1 favorite, fighting someone with ZERO power, who is clearly past it and your still clearly the bigger man, have to foul by clearly kicking Paulie, then still, STILL get a dodgy points win

    :lol::rofl

    Fixed

    Whether you cry about Broner or not, the fact is he jumped two weight divisions and beat the welterweight champion. Khan didn't.

    Malignaggi has fought almost his whole career at 140 lbs and has went lower than that to fight Diaz how was he clearly drained?

    He got beat by Hatton but Hatton was still number 1 at the weight at the time.

    If Malginaggi was THE welterweight champ, what was Mayweather? Paper titlist?

    I'm sure Khan could go upto Junior Middleweight and beat Sergio Mora easily, if he'd be given a paper title. And not make a pig's ear of it and lose like Broner did.
