396-1 olympic gold x 2 world championship gold x 2 is he human? he has more potential than any other boxers people say the skys the limit a lor but with this guy it really is true hes gonna be a legend
Success in the amateurs doesn't mean ****. The amount of amateur champions who amount to nothing far exceed those who do.
Lomachenko is 25 and has an Amateur record if anything better than Rigos. Of course that doesn't (as has been pointed out) guarantee anything in the pros, but I'd say if there was such a thing as a 'dead cert' for pro success, Lomachenko would be it. Could he be better than Rigo? - only time will tell. That said, whilst I respect his cahones in shooting for a title on his second fight, I also believe it's a big, big risk for him to take.
he already fought with headgears off in wsb for 5 rounds against the best amateurs in the world. pro game is different with 12 rounds and bigger things on the line, i just wanna say that headgear isnt the biggest difference between pro and am, its more mentaly and physically. elite pros are living from boxing and there is more violence in pro ring, while in amateur judge can count you after harder shot. headgears were only for visual safety..
