The general consensus is that he's a boring H.W that is slowly killing the division. The days of Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis truly were great. But now it just seems dead, Wlad the robot is seen as a boring, dull champion. With excessive clinching and pushing tactics, coupled with a glass jaw, he fights in possibly the weakest era the division has ever seen. Quality in the H.W divsion has just dropped. An old, fat and under-prepared Lennox Lewis TKO'd a prime form Vitali Klitschko. The difference between the quality in era's is just unfunny. Will the division ever be good again? Because all the talk is on Floyd Mayweather Jr, he's actually stole the show from the H.W divison, the celebs see him fight. He's P4P #1, etc.
He's boring because you're bored by him, same as everything else in the world that you find boring. Yes, the division will one day be good again. And other obvious answers to - ahem - boring questions.
The fact that heavyweight fights are now non-events proves how dull he is. However it is not his fault that he is technically superior to everybody out there.
