Well he's an interesting character. A very enchanting, and succinct view into an ordinary mans life, who by the twists of fate turns out to be one of the most prominent and illustrious trainers and personas in the boxing world today. I love how the presence of the camera crew cannot be felt during the whole show. It just gives us an opportunity to, for a moment, to live vicariously in Roach's shoes, and feel what he feels. A different perspective of life entirely.
Watched all six episodes on the trot earlier, brilliant documentary, I feel Manny has let his eye of the ball, staying up, not listening to instructions in fights etc, having clowns hanging on to his staff. Roach tries to get Manny on the right path but like he says Manny is the real boss, he does what he wants. Got a new found respect for Roach.
Anyone else think Roach should sue the show Ray Donovan?? (That brother character is almost a spittin' image of him)
