Others have already said it but Haye is too celeb nowadays and can't be taken seriously. He whinged like a girl when he lost to Klitschko citing a broken toe as being the problem. Now he's got a cut that caused the fight to be rescheduled for Feb. I don't think he's interested anymore and certainly ha kept himself active. He's a poor excuse for a boxer. I hate Fury too though. HW division is poor in the UK right now.
Vitali Klitschko still wants to fight Haye, but Haye broke many promises to Klitschkos in the past. He broke a signed contract with Vlad and broke an implied contract with Vitali...............
Really?? Not one of us knows what goes on behind the scenes, with all the red tape and then the propaganda that goes on. My view is Team Klitschko are not so keen on Haye because they wont be able to get him on the cheap. Its easy to say "We have made a number of offers, he wont sign the contract, he is running from us" ..... but if the amounts on the offers are derisory then they wont get accepted. For example the reason why Tyson Fury is fighting Haye and swerved Pulev is for one reason and that is a HUGE amount of money, and that is also the reason why the fight will defo take place, as either boxer will not get that sort of cash anywhere else.
you cant slag a fighter off for getting injured, i`m allways getting injured, but its how you deal with it and come back that defines you. until he`s flat on his back he`s the third most credible heavyweight beyond the brothers. you can hate the fact as much as you like, but thats how it is. he`s the man who still gets talked about on here love him or loathe him. Q. how would you deal with a superheavyweight when you`re a natural cruiserweight? would you stand there and trade? how would you deal with a man 4" taller and 2 stone heavier than you? how would you deal with it when your movement has been taken away from you?
Agree with everything there, except maybe your 3rd line.I reckon after a long hard career,in which he tackled everyone including the best heavy of his generation,Vitali has had enough. And he's going to concentrate on politics.Nothing to prove. On the other hand,I don't really think David wants another dose of Wladimir.Which brings us to your point about the money.
Haye v wlad was embarrassing FACT - I think he maybe won one round ! Total joke. Why would they want to deal with him again ?
Too much £ not to go ahead BUT if another injury occurs especially Haye it will be time to move on to other fights the interest would of gone especially to the casual fan.
I would say it's 50-50 that the fight will go on.It depends on Haye's mental state as the fight gets nearer.I can see a back "injury" in Haye's not too distant future,to be honest.
Haye is somewhat unstable at most. Haye did kick Wilder's arse while sparring, unless the video was faked somehow...........but anyone who can fight well can beat Wilder. It's a shame to see a fight like that be canceled due to injury. Injuries do happen though................
Too much **** gets wrote about Haye. He's pulled out of 3 fights. Wlad due to Setanta, Charr due to poor ticket sales (I've been told Matchroom / Booth told him to pull out due to this). In this fight the arena's sold out & it's guaranteed on Sky Box Office, there's no reason for Haye to pull out other than through a genuine injury which it was. I'd ignore anything Fury says. He also says that he'd of beat Lennox Lewis & that Kevin Johnson's the best American heavy. Fury's up there with Khan in the stupidity stakes.
