It's a nice feat to accomplish winning fighter of the decade, but he obviously lost that by default---his semi retirements and his lack of popularity with the media made Pacman a shoe in.

It'll be interesting to see where those 2 will be ranked All time after they hang their gloves up for good. My belief is Floyd will be considered in the top 20 of all time, and Pacman around 30 or so.

Yes Floyd should easily win it. Fought two top P4P fighters with titles and had over 3 million PPV buys. The highest grossing fight ever!

Robert Guerrero was rated numver#8 P4P and canelo was number #10 p4p when Floyd fought them. Not to mention they were both number two in their divisiobs at the time.

Clearly Floyd is the Fighter of the Year for 2013.

#1 JMW lineal champion in Saul Alvarez
    #3 WW in Robert Guerrero

Lost a combined 4 or 5 rounds out of 24.

Won lineal titles in two weight classes in decisive beatings.

Anyone who says no would be unable to name a candidate anywhere close to deserving more than Floyd.

Rigondeaux is the only guy who comes close in my mind and that would depend on the result of the Agbeko fight.

Edwin Rodriguez may have an argument if he decisively beats Andre Ward.

Mayweather hands down. He won so decisively, it's a no brainer.

Does not deserve it. Yes, Canelo was the biggest risk hes taken in many years, but GGG deserves that way more than a guy who averages ~1.3 fights per year.

Yes GGG fough 4times this year.but really against who?
And do you happen to know floyd fights so rarely?something to do with the money? :patsch

Lineal titles at 147 and 154 is way more than defending your MW title 3times this year.
And the opponents rosado, ishida, macklin and stevens.can you really give credit for that?all easy fights against poor competition.your boy GGG is still a hypejob.come back arguing when he have proved himself, against top competition.

GGG is hiding at **** poor MW right now.move up,i don't want "fighter of the year" keep fighting against japanese tomato cans.

Mayweather deserves to win fighter of the year. Won the biggest fights of the year and the most lucrative fight in history.
