Golovkins chin is pure granite

Ask yourself why his face looked so clean after the fight. It's because he was not getting hit flush. Those who r saying that he got hit and his chin was tested r bugging. He controlled the fight and maybe took two relatively clean shots, but he never really left himself in position to get hit with that KO punch. He used movement, position, angles, kept his chin tucked, managed distance well, footwork, cutting off the ring and stuck behind the jab all while pushing the action to create an entertaining fight. People who don't see that he's a technically sound fighter acting like he was getting hit too much r bugging. He elects to take risks. He's really the all around package in terms of what I want in a fighter style wise. That being said, his chin is definitely solid.

 

I agree, he's a very well rounded boxer, it's just that his style at first glance may appear more crude than it actually is.

 

GG has not shown a granite chin yet. He was put down with a body shot by Tyrell Hendrix, but that was sparring.

we now know he can take a shot if he needs to.

 

Solid chin, no doubt. And terrific ability to avoid clean shots landing.

GODlovkin, GOATlovkin, or GolovKING would be more appropriate

 

GG's chin hasn't been tested as of yet. He has not been hit by a top level fighter/boxer/puncher. He's taken some good shots so far, but the top guys usually land more than guys like Stevens.

 

He's ****ing rock solid, if you can't get him out of there, you are getting taken out. It's that simple.

 

Those saying Curtis landed flush on numerous occasions are full of ****. Curtis didn't land one hard hitting hook all night long. The only decent shot he landed was the straight jab to GGG's face which he shrugged off.
