while i ahve criticized ward for his unwillingness to travel, i'm still positive the fight would turn out the same. . .

i still think he should be willing to travel to fight froch, or kessler, should the fights become more desirable in the future.

If you ask the Brits, yeah absolutely, but to those who understand how little a **** location matters in the grand scheme of things...**** no.

I think Calzaghe could probably whoop a prime Jeff Lacy at 50 years old.

The nature in which Joe beat him makes me believe they could have fought in the Lost city of Atlantis and result would still be the same

a 2nd match would be a sordid **** session. Calzaghe destroys lacy all night any night, any place anytime anywhere as Mr T would put it.

But it would be a treat for Boxing and America to have Joe back in action.

After Lacy 2, then Hopkins 2, finally Joe gets his title back when he introduces Ward to his left hand!:D:dead

ward beat froch handily, but is a poor comparison to joe's schooling of lacy.

a rematch of the former in england would be different, purely on having a ref who would implement his own interpretation of the rules. it would be closer, but i'd still back ward to prevail.
