Kovalev will eat this guy alive. I want to see Ward step up and fight Kovalev, just like when he challenged Dawson. But im 99% sure Ward will duck the fight.

 

Styles make fights and Stevenson is all kinds of wrong for Kovalev. Kovalev has serious power but apart from that I don't see anything special

Well I hardly doubt that Stevenson will be doing his showboating routine as he did with Cloud, it would look a little silly as he will be running and fighting for his life. Point is, I don't expect Stevenson to stand and trade. But he does have the type of power that will keep Kovalev from rushing in all willy and/or nilly, and I do think he'll have some sort of success for a time, staying mobile and countering Kovalex, before getting caught with something unpleasant. I'd say a mid-late tko for Kovy.

Pseudo slick? Cloud barely touched Stevenson, he actually landed nearly double the punches against Bhop through round 7 than he did on Adonis.

You lot are seriously underrating Stevenson and overrating Kovalev. And im sure we can all agree Dawson and Cloud are better wins than an old Campillo and featherfisted Cleverly that tried to go toe to toe with him

Kovalev is a volume punch and doesn't have the 1 puncher power that Stevenson possesses. I see a Stevenson 7th Round KO where Kovalev is gassed and gets caught with a left counter and put to sleep.

 

Kovalev knocks him out in round 3.

Kovalev has huge power no doubt, the difference is he telegraphs his shots and his opponents see them coming... Stevenson is one of the best counter punchers in the game right now with the handspeed of a MW, its the punches you dont see coming that do the most damage
