Canelo has no jab, has terrible stamina, overrated power, does not have golovkin's footwork, does not have golovkin's amateur pedigree.

You don't know what you're talking about.

Lol, just reading these comments. Here we have a guy whos essentially a JR Welter, campaigning at 154, while coming in well under the 154lbER average, in debates at fighting a damn middleweight.

If thats not proof that he's the truth, I dont know what is. Hate it or love it. Floyds the man lol. Its crazy.

cause some dumbass posted a silly thread and posters are putting him in his place, that's proof to you that Floyd is "the truth".

No doubt in your eyes, FLoyd somehow already beat GGG!

No, it's more of fanatical ball slopping on Floyd. I am fan of boxing and of Floyd, but I can recognize when someone is just under the spell. For his "fans" this is really asking too much of him. I put the word fans in quotes because real fans of the sport would know this. Size can be overcome, but there is always a tipping point, and this is it for Floyd.

    youre a ***g.ot
quit saying he is a 140 pounder when he hasnt fought there in 8 years.
if he is big enough to win a a belt a 154, then he is big enough to defend it vs anyone who can make 154. youre such a ***** and ***** about this

Eat a di--. There are 140's who come in at 150 on fight night. Money just doesnt cut weight, ever. So he can stay around his walking around weight.

    2. He's big enough to win a belt there, off of skill, not because of size.

    3. Tell GGG to take his ass to 168 and prove he's legit.

    4. Yo mama.

If fight weight is 154, FMJ win. If its normal weigh in, GGG wins as long he executes the cut and rehydrate correctly.

GGG would make a good fight at 154 fight weight if he had enough prep time, and wasnt drained. His one truly elite level skill is jab work, and the one thing FMJ has some trouble with is high level lead-hand work. FMJ would find a way to seal GGG deadly left body hook follow up and his right hand isnt as skilled unless he is in a phone booth but FMJ would probably be able to keep out of the phone booth.

At 154 fight weight anyway. If GGG only had to lose ~3lbs real bulk and managed a hard weigh-in cut and fought non-drained at 164 fight weight then FMJ in serious trouble. But, again thats kind of silly... there are weight classes for a reason. Floyd Sr even said he would advise Jr against taking a Martinez or GGG fight.

    DESTROY ?

You mean maybe outpoint? because Floyd and Destroy don't belong in the same sentence in boxing

If they weigh in say 8 hours before the fight, and May was 152 and GGG was 154, and then a few hours later May was 152 and GGG was "only" 157, Mayweather would box his ears off.

Mayweather actually has the reach advantage by a whopping 2 inches. He has even better timing than GGG and is far better known to improve in every facet throughout the duration of a fight.

For GGG to win he needs to be a MW or SMW. Just like everybody else his only chance is power and KO and that won't happen if he is in the ring at 154-157 lbs.

Would Mayweather destroy GGG? No, but at 154-157, he would destroy the image GGG currently has.

He's also slow as ****, leaves himself open as fvck and can't fight off the back foot.

    Mayweather by easy UD...

Hes not slow, thats silly. Its called varying punch speed. Some punches and other movements are very fast, some are mid speed some are slow. Its all depends on situation, angles, etc

Leaving himself "open" often has purpose such as drawing people out. Even where its a mistake, wouldnt matter against FMJ.

Hes def not as good at fighting off back foot. But hed have to drop to 140 before youd see FMJ forcing GGG to fight off his back foot.

    destroys ?

Mayweather has the talent to outbox GGG
GGG has to find a way to land on Floyd

    @ 154 I would say Mayweather UD 80% probability
    late Golovkin KO 20% probability
