The arena will be mostly full come fight night. I don't consider this a particularly big fight. Certainly nothing like Benn Eubank as sky have been hinting.
The way Sky have been bigging this fight up is pathetic. I actually cringed during ringside during the 'backstage' shots with Eddie sat in the middle of them. Everything totally staged and scripted.
It's totally incorrect , every ticket has been paid fr therefore it's sold out. What third parties do is irrelevant. Fight must have an interest or it wouldn't of sold out ! Those 3rd partis are occasionaly fraudulent tickets which would have higher case of fraud the more popular the event
also doesn't take account of the fact that any tout worth his salt will have listed the same tickets across all three resale platforms...
Are there tickets still available to buy from ticket sites? But then do you think this is really the issue here and not the fact that sky are selling this as PPV worthy yet over 4,000 remain available with 2 weeks left?
From the promoters point of view, this sold out in however many minutes after going on sale. They have made all the money they can make from tickets. Eddie Hearn isn't misleading anyone when he says this is sold out. What the people who bought tickets then decide to do with those tickets is irrelevant. Whether they go to the fight, sell them to someone else, or give them away or burn them doesn't alter the fact this is a sell out.
We are not stupid, we dont need this explaining (again) dear me you people dont get it do you. There are tickets on sale from ticket sites, whether you want to admit it or not. If this was a truly ppv event there would be none available to buy at this point, or at least far less than 4,000 with 2 weeks to go.

If this was a truly ppv event there would be none available to buy at this point, or at least far less than 4,000 with 2 weeks to go ------------------ not really, maybe people are just not dumb enough to pay the ridiculous prices for tickets that are 5-6x more than face value, just a thought, if football tickets were sold on the same basis stadiums would all be half empty from the unsold tickets brought by people who have no intention of going but havent manged to sell them for silly prices
Say this was Floyd v Khan in the UK, would there be tickets left? Or Ricky Hatton v Senchenko-that truly sold out well before the fight. My point is Sky, Hearn and Froch are trying to tout this as a huge fight and it isnt and the current sales at the miunte are proving this. If a product is good enough, people will pay. Its a good fight, not huge though.
i agree :goodi have said in previous articles it shouldnt be box office, sky have tried to make this something it isant but the fact is come fight night the arena is going to be sold out and it will do decent if not spectacular ppv numbers
once again, the touts will have listed identical tickets across all three platforms. You can almost certainly divide that 4000 number by near enough 3. So probably just over a thousand left that no doubt will be virtually all sold nearer the time when the touts are forced to drop the prices.
Hopefully it does sell out but its misleading by the platform to tout this as 'sold out' as to many people that means there are none left to buy-when there are. Ive never said it wont sell out as in all seats filled, i said it isnt truly and the seats werent filled up by individual buyers in 11 minutes which people here claimed was the facty and showed the demand for the fight. How many there are left and how the touts are working this as pointed out could be unclear but it wouldnt surprise me if 'reduced' hotel packages start popping up to get rid of them if uptake doesnt significatnly increase by this time in 2 weeks. This wouldnt happen if it was a huge fight.
Floyd and canelo tickets were also available third hand too and vastly increased prices. Whether the fight is ppv worthy or not isn't the point, fact is it's sold out. A someone correctly pointed out , tickets listed for sale via third party are listed across a number of similar sites so this figure is totally inaccurate also. I don't disagree with you about this not being ppv worthy, but that isn't point of the original op as it's totally sold out! Although this is more ppv worthy than some of khans fifgts were on the same station!
It's not misleading by sky or matchroom to say it's sold out, all tickets are bought and paid for , it's totally accurate to say it's sold out. NO promoter in any field be in football, concerts etc care a **** about what tickets touts have available as it is irrelevant !
