Remember people said he needed to fight Hatton. Then he fought Hatton and everyone said Hatton was too small and he was ducking Cotto.
Zoo was a legit champion, but he was not on Mayweathers level. The Floyd that destroyed Gatti would have made Zoo quit on his stool like Hatton did. Hatton broke him down physically, Mayweather would have broken him mentally by the 8th and laid it on him in the championship rounds. Zoo had a right hand that can crack, but May has a chin and it would be rare to see it land clean.
Yes of course. Freitas, casamayor, tzuy, prime 140 hatton, prime de la hoya, prime mosley, pacquaio, margarito, williams would have all beaten floyd. How you say that, easy money? I bet these ******s can help me with couple of more names? Floyd's resume should be something like 40-12-3 atleast.floyd is maybe top 50 figher of this era. All boxing legends and trainers are wrong, they are stupid to say floyd is one of the best.i think i trust these keyboard warriors more.they know what they are talking about.
Prime Hatton at 140 claimed he was not ready for floyd Mosely and Oscar wanted no part of Floyd until the twilight of their career. Margarito was only offered to floyd to settle a contract dispute .. Per Arum look it up . Freitas never wanted it, he tried to fight the late Corrales to see how he would measure up and was KOed in the distance. Casamayo was a head case . Tyzu was with showtime and floyd with HBO, the fight was not huge enough for the two network to partner and make money from the fight.
Imo Floyd would have schooled him to a wide UD. Tszyu was a big puncher and always had an easy time against boxers with limited skill. At the time, Floyd wasn't as experienced as he is now, so it's possible that Kostya would have eventually caught him and knocked him out, but my stake would definitely be on Mayweather outboxing him every round without taking risks and winning an UD.
Floyd has been by bigger men with more punching power than Tszyu and not KOed. He' wouldve schooled him.
