Winky is light years ahead of anything ggg has seen in the ring and would frustrate the hell out of him. i see it being close at first and then i see winky out boxing him down the stretch. prime winky is underrated on here by a lot of people. i'm a big ggg fan but that's the truth i can't wait to see people talk about how winky would get steamrolled.
Could go either way imo but I'll say GGG at 160. Judging by how GGG struggled slightly with the way Stevens fought, I think the fight would be very close. I would give GGG the nod though based on workrate, being the aggressor and his punches having more effect. Winky at 154 because I fear GGG would be drained at that weight. Very interesting match-up. :good
I would go with Winky at 154 easily at 160 Winky wasn't as good but he was tough still had his ATG jab defense and a good workrate. I'd pick him there as well.
Winky with his great D and **** offence gets pulverized and pizza faced at both 154lb and 160lb in a 12 UD. GGG make him his ***** Close thread.
atsch LIGHT YEARS!!?? How far is Harry Simon and Vargas!?? You know just picking older fighters doesn't equal boxing knowledge. GGG has over 350 am fight. He see guys like winky before.
Its tough to pick against prime Winky, I give GGG a chance but at this stage I think he's not yet experienced enough and hasn't yet fought guys on winky's level. Winky would frustrate him, and win a boring UD
Not in a pro fight. I agree though GGG has a stellar amateur carrer and obviously knows how to box, better record than floyd and even oscar did! But prime winky may be too much for him at this point in his career. Too much meaning too experienced in dog fights, winky would suck the drama out of it and win a boring UD.
