It seems people expect a lot when ordering a PPV fight through Sky.

Personally if I pay for PPV its for the headline fight and anything else is a bonus, if the headliner is not worth it, I dont even bother booking.

£14.99 for a decent top of the bill for me is worth the money.

What do you want for your £14.99?

A headline fight-title challenge with top ranked opponents

Froch Groves is undercard worthy for a ppv

If the headline is Froch v Groves i want title fights between actual challengers and titlists, not 'champ v 369th ranked opp' repeated 12 times with a couple of up and comers added on

to be honest, we expect to much from PPV.

Look what the americans get for some of their PPVs and the price is a hell of a lot more than sky charge.

Ill admit im disappointed by undercard, but it is what it is

If I was to pay for a PPV event I would expect an undercard better than a non PPV event.
Non PPV events in the UK seem to have better undercards which I dont think is quite right

At least 2 competitive world title fights, when I say competitive I mean the opponents should be at least ranked or touted as a decent test, tune ups are not acceptable on a ppv no ****ing way.A couple of competitive domestic title fights and whatever else is up to the promotor.

To be honest I pay for boxing on ppv on SKY, Primetime or any other channel because it is my sport and I love to watch boxing. Before buying I look at a few different things before deciding and they are

    1. Do any of the fights on the show interest me? Main event or the undercard fights

    2. Would I have bought a ticket to go and watch this show if I could afford to? When you cost the price of tickets , fuel, hotel and spending money.

If the answer to these questions is yes I purchase it.

I understand that people get annoyed when there are ppv events but I would rather pay £15 to watch Froch vs Groves, Fury vs Haye than the fights not happening at all.

In the big scheme of things its only £14.99. Less than your average round of pints. What do people want? the option to watch a good night of boxing or not? You are going to expect a promoter to put up the money for 6 world title fights, its not financially feasible. Its a business at the end of the day, they need to at least break even/achieve bottom line.

I think the bill is good value in my opinion.

I've never factored in the undercard when purchasing a PPV, the main event is what I buy it for and as someone above has said, the undercard is a bonus.

For me, Froch vs. Groves is a fight I'm very interested in and therefore worth the £15.

The undercard is far better than the Froch-Kessler undercard, and much better than people are giving it credit for, it's just not the 'outrageous' undercard that Hearn had said it would be. But that doesn't mean it's terrible

A PPV needs to be a huge fight. One that bult up and has everyone talking about.

It needs one decent match up on the undercard. One thats get people excited and worthy of its own headline in a smaller show.

Then just plenty of good prospects.

Froch Groves with Quigg on the bill and people like Joshua is pretty good for £15, especially if you look and America who charge $60 for some of theirs.

Haye Harrison was a joke. But This one is ok i think. Most people do expect too much from a PPV. As long as you have some depth and can have a few people round for a drink and a takeaway watching a solid night of boxing is all i want from a PPV.

I don't expect PPV at all.

**** PPV. I'll never shill out £15 for a boxing match. Much rather go to a pub to watch it or, failing that, live stream.

    exactly this....

you cant watch a game of football for less than 40 quid these days so 15 quid for a whole evenings entertainment is good value in my book
