they cashed out on canelo when his value was at an all-time high

alvarez couldnt have fought cotto(they only safe fight for him) before floyd because there is no way the wbc couldve justified it to the public(cotto coming off two wide ud losses) and there was no safe 154 fight for the overrated canelo.

better to get exposed by floyd and make millions than someone like carlos molina and make nothing

Cotto will definitely give Canelo a run for his money. To me this fight is a toss up. Canelo in his last two fights was not that impressive, damn sure not good enough for me to believe that a fight aganist Cotto would be one sided in his favor.

 

Floyd win is already a great win. Even if Canelo does beat Cotto, he's beating a older Cotto, which is pass his prime. It does nothing to enhance Floyd victory over Canelo.

 

Lara has done nothing to deserve 10 mill. Cotto was offered that cause
