James Toney will be in Prizefighter!

Why is the BBBofC even letting James Toney fight on this card? The guy is clearly shot to pieces and displaying side effects from taking too many blows to the head.

He can't even get licensed in most states in America so why can he fight in Britain even though the equally shot Danny Williams can't?

PrizeFighter was a great idea when it first started but has reached it's sell by date now unless they start upping the prize money and attracting a better quality of boxer rather then a bunch of past it fighters or novices who are going nowhere.

 

True story Prizefighter had more viewers than Carl Frampton! Says a lot about boxing fans in the UK!

 

Thing with Toney is, he can still defend himself, slip and slide with shots... and his chin is outrageous.

One of the main reason's he's also been able to go on for so long as well as go through the weights.

Well according to the figures it also gets better viewing figures then pretty much every boxer including Ricky Burns apart from Haye, Khan, Fury, Chisora, Froch and Brook.

The UK loves betting so that's the main reason it's popular despite the quality of boxers being ****.

 

Well i saw his fights against Lucas Browne and Lebedev and he got pretty busted up in those fights. I agree his chin is still great but thats not doing anything for his longterm health and the BBBofC shouldn't be party to allowing him to damage himself further in the ring. I say this as a huge admirer of Toney, his display of skills against Jirov is still one of the greatest i've seen in my time watching boxing.

 

The part about Eubanks mother do you really think he was serious ? It was a joke did you not hear the audience all laughing on the show, i dont think he is as bad a person as he is percieved in the media and also the character he portrays , he was very friendly with fans and is a very down to earth guy

 

Still certain things you shouldn't say, just saying there is no denying he is a massive racist and homophobic not 2 nice traits, have never met him personally but just some of the things he has said he shouldn't have.
