    Round 12

Haskins is bouncing away on his toes, right arm held straight down, not even jabbing at Booth. Diving right by Booth, pushed off with both arms by Haskins. More shoving than punching by Haskins. 1-2 shot over Booth's head as Haskins ties up. Left to the body by Haskins. Booth comes forward and whips in a right uppercut to the stomach walking through a Haskins jab. Haskins pivots and slaps up top with a right hook while backing up, arms dragging at his sides. BIG HOOKING COMBO from the hips by Haskins. Booth is rocked and backed up. Haskins puts a few more together, holding his ground. Booth recovers and presses in. Haskins backs up to the ropes, then flits around the perimeter, dodging body shots from Booth. Haskins draws a lead from Booth with a fake step inward, then backs up and comes in again with a boomerang jab on the chin.

    10-9 Haskins

    118-110 Haskins

And it was. Haskins sealed the deal, imo, by hurting his foe when it appeared as though the round, and possibly the fight, was slipping away.

True, some nip and tuck action in the early going and Booth has been putting in steady work all night, but Haskins managed to just edge a large enough majority that I can't see it being all that narrow.

I won't be too bummed if Booth gets it, though. :yep

Haskins' style is one I hate to reward and do so with reluctance.
