Wowow happened. :-(

Those *******s decided to put the undercard on regular terrestrial broadcast television in Japan, and simulcast to other countries via their local networks (ie Canal 4 in Chocolatito Gonzalez's native home of Nicaragua, which carried his bout à la carte...all four minutes of it... :yep)

Then for some inexplicable reason they switched the main event to a restricted by-charge event only for existing Wowow subscribers after logging in and paying a fee to view it.

Basically, nobody saw Yamanaka vs. Guevara unfold live unless they were physically in Japan and either a) present at the venue or b) a paying Wowow subscriber.

Upon realizing this, when it would've been too late to jump in anyway even had it been possible since Twitter reports by then were describing the 2nd round of action, I did actually slam my laptop shut in disgust, leaving about twenty browser tabs open (including the poor abandoned RBR ) and fall asleep.
