Does Bernard Hopkins get enough credit for what he is doing?

No. He doesn't get nearly the credit. A lot of people who don;t give him credit are either people who have never had to train for a full 12-Rounder, or people who are too young to understand how difficult it is to be in that type of shape at that age for so many years.

 

Well nobody really cares about boxing, so you're right, he doesn't get the credit he deserves. However, in the boxing community I think he does. Everyone knows what he has done and they recognize greatness.

Not at all, to be performing at the level he is performing at being 48 nearly 49 is one of the greatest feats in sports. Bernard has been a force in the game for 20 years now and always comes in shape and prepared for his fights, is a student of the game, lives a model lifestyle for a fighter outside of the ring and has beat a number of very good champions over the years yet he seems to get no credit from the general public and many boxing fans. I rank Bernard as one of the best fighters of all time. Simply his excellent craft and longevity makes him IMO a no doubt to be mentioned amongst the all time greats.

 

No. He won't be completely appreciated until he's done.
