GGG of today vs prime Calzaghe at 168who wins?

    Torn between two lovers is what I expect from the moronic and biased, but I'm interested where the loyalties lie


    Interesting, will every Britard blindingly go with Ghost of Christmas past? or will every Eastern Eurobot wax lyrical about their 31 yr old GWH? or will objectivity reign supreme....OK ESB who wins and why?

    I say a prime Calzaghe with no hand injuries pummels and blasts GGG to bits, probably a KO in the 7th or 8th, at the very least a decision for Joe, Im talking a motivated and healthy Slappy, the one who could punch before his hands went to ****.

    too much speed, movement, power and pride,.
    If only Joe Calzaghe had more confidence what a transcendent, otherworldly, star he would have been, what might have been.

    We've never seen GGG against that kind of ability, movement and craft. Calzaghe would outbox him I figure.

    There is always a style that can beat a man, I've wondered what style would be the worst for GGG. I think Joe would have a great chance against GGG but I can't say who would win that. You can't ever count Joe out because he has the speed and can adapt like no other.

    I think Hopkins mugging and hugging style would be more effective on an accurate slugger like Golovkin.

    I think we need to see GGG against Froch before we can say what would have happened. If Froch can outbox him then Joe would have had no problem. The same goes for Ward but I see the Froch fight as being more likely.

    I think Calzaghe would win, he might loose the first few rounds.
    But that guy is brilliant at adapting, so he would win on points across all judges.

    Joe has a few things going for here, chiefly his adaptability, speed, and the fact that he won't be backing down... Alas, we still have much more to see of Golovkin.
