Apparently, the same ref who refereed the Ward-Kessler fight will be in the Ward-Rodriguez fight. Does this mean more headbutting?

Who knows but this is a real fight for Ward and i would make Rodriguez a very live underdog and wouldn't be surprised if he pulls out a very close win or loses a controversial decision.

    I actually agree with this.

Aside from Froch II, this is probably the toughest fight at 168 for Ward.

Jack Reiss from Valencia, California will be the third man in the ring on Saturday in Ontario, California...

The three judges are Max Deluca from Tustin, California; Jerry Cantu from Westminster, California; and Steve Morrow, from Hollister, California.

Prediction: lots of deliberate fouling by Andre Ward which will be permitted by Jack Reiss, the same ref who worked the Kessler-Ward fight.

Ward will succeed doing what Don George couldn't - get inside and go to work.

This should be really exciting. Ward will hold E-Rod's right hand, maul, rinse and repeat. A real treat.

Why exactly do you feel obligated to post a second time in a thread where you've already replied to that so called "Ward hater"? :nut

Ward is #2 P4P and a damn great fighter - check.

He's boring as fukk and is not a draw when you consider he drew less than 10K in a 20+K capacity arena fighting the lineal LHW champ - check.

Masterful on defense, and defense wins championship. However offense generates a wow factor, which Ward doesn't have - check.

Most people want to scoop their eyes out their eyeballs and dip them in hot sauce before throwing them to the dogs every time he fights. Quite understandable... do you enjoy a foul filled 3-0 football game more so than you do a 60+ pt scorefest? Didn't think so.

Again, Ward is a great fighter. Serious.

It is one of the best fights at 168 for him no doubt, but he is so damn good that after the fight haters will say it was cherry picking!

there have been no gift decisions or ridiculous scorecards in past Ward fights, so until then, why complain?

and Rodriguez never even tried to negotiate "ped tests" in the contract, yet waits til the presser to try and mention it. he's b-side fighter with no belt that needs to learn his place...

Right, because Ward did beat Bute. A fighter you feel is appropriate to bring up in a Ward thread.

Go ahead and explain the 120-108, 118-110 Ward-Bika cards. Should be fun. :pop

Ward won that close fight, but the scorecards were ridiculous. :good
