GGG KO. It'd be a matter of when, not if.

Jermain is Taylor made for GGG. GGG KO rd.8. Jermain never had the intellect to stick to a game plan.

Great matchup, even the past his prime version of Taylor was giving Froch hell who also had to come from behind to beat JT. Taylor was athletically gifted and had alot of heart, but his ring IQ was really not that good and whether you're a fan or not you have to admit that. Fights he should of won easy he struggled and the late great Manny Steward chewin him out cuz Jermaine wouldn't follow the gameplan hurt Taylor big time. He had BIG trouble with punchers, even guys that weren't huge punchers, but like Froch were heavy handed. Taylor for the first half could outwork anyone and outbox anyone for the first 6 rounds or so, then the descent started. One of my fav fighters, but I don't like his chances on this one, tho he'd gain an early lead on GGG, but gets stopped late.

JT slides him with his jab alone if we are talking about prime JT. GGG has fought nothing but tomato cans and in usual hype job fashion, people are buying into this bull****. He's been looking more, and more bad as his **** poor competition is finally being stepped up. GGG is just another Lucian Bute. Just wait and see.

Good fight in terms of entertainment value, but I would consider Golovkin the heavy favorite.

It was just the amateurs, but Golovkin did beat an incredible athlete type in Andre Dirrell. Dirrell is bigger than Taylor, too, so yeah. Beyond that, Golovkin's composure, accuracy, power, technique, and chin simply spell a nightmare for Taylor. He would ruin then-prime Taylor worse than Pavlik did.

The most plausible (perhaps only) scenario for Taylor winning would be to strictly adhere to a gameplan and box all night long. Would that plausibly happen? No. Ring IQ and stamina denies him the ability to do that well. His heart only serves against him here, conspiring with those two factors.

I can't believe people are picking JT. GGG easily takes this by ko around round 7 after beaten on JT the whole fight.

No chance for JT in my opinion.

taylor was wack. he loss to hopkins in the 1st fight and got a gift. he loss to cory spinks and got a fight. he loss to winky and got a gift. he could not knock out kassim oumma for nothing. i said as soon as jermain fights a guy just as big as he is with power he's getting fugged up. bow he ran into pavlik got put to bed, froch put him to bed, arthur put him to bed. jermain taylor was a sorry ass mw champ. i could not wait for his reign to be over.

ggg would have stoped taylor the night taylor fought hopkins the 1st time. jermain would have gotten tired and fought hard. out of steam and energy, breathing hard. and he would have gotten stopped in DEVASTING FASHION.
