You know what I like about Calzaghe fans? Their quiet, cool confidence.

They don't need to start blatantly obvious, ******ed, semi literate, emoticon littered, redundant and ill considered troll threads, because they have the truth on their side.

Sure, they could be like other fanboys and start threads about JC every 10 seconds just to get a rise out of people. Sure, they could pollute a once decent forum with nonsense and gibberish. They could contribute nothing meaningful to conversations and generally ruin any thread they might wander into with their sad little lives. BUT! they don't need to, because they've suckled from the teet of Calzaghe and his milk nourishes them.

Joe Calz beat Lacy, and that honestly is the greatest win any fighter ever had and probably will ever have. It's also the only time in boxing history when the 'underdog' won, that has never, ever happened. That's why Joe is so important, because he did something that had never been accomplished before or since.

I see your point. Especially because Lacy is the greatest fighter ever produced by the USA. No kidding, Lacy makes SRR, SRL, PBF, Ali etc all look like B or C level club opposition at best.

And since Joe beat Lacy (who as mentioned is the greatest pugilist from the USA) he must be the GOAT. I mean, one of Joe's career defining wins must be one of the greatest ever, right? Cause if Lacy was crap, then that means that...oh...I guess it's best not to think about it.

Ruined implies that Lacy good or great, not just hyped as great. Since if he was crap to begin with then he couldn't be ruined. After all, you can't really ruin crap since it's ruined to begin with.
