So Ward is better than him so what!
Dirrell could have got the nod but was very negative and ran away all night..Froch may have got a bit lucky on that one but imo he's the better figher than Direll! So what!
Kessler, Froch was a great fight Kessler was prob just the deserved winner. So what! He's avenged that.

So he's the 2nd best SMW in the world, much ado about nothing! :-(

Seriously, where did this idea that Groves is the ginger Gulian Gackson come from, stopping Smith? I've seen him knock over a few people I've never heard of and never will again, I've also seen him hit Glenn Johnson with the kitchen sink and the fridge and the dishwasher and not even wobble him. Granted Johnson's tough as nails but he looked like a corpse and Groves hit him A LOT. Couldn't hurt him at all.

    He's not stopping Froch.

This the vibe I keep getting when thinking about this fight too. Groves hits harder than Jermain Taylor who floored Froch and couldn't miss all night until he had engine failure.

Yes Froch is the proven "warrior" but I don't think Groves is going to crumble as easily as a lot of people are making out, and Groves has more natural talent and can bang a bit as well.

Groves coming into this fight without an adequate intermediate toughener of a fight is not ideal though

I have recently watched back the bute, dirrell, Kessler, taylor fights and there is just no way groves can live with that. Im not saying froch is a better boxer than groves but the man is an animal the way he finished bute was totally brutal and groves chin is suspect. Froch wins by the 6th or before, no way this goes past 8

I'm not betting against Carl Froch again until he fights Ward or Dirrell.

The odds are going to have to be really good for me to even take Golovkin against Carl.

Degale is more skilled but I would fancy Carl to get to him as well.

The heart and grit and will to win that Froch possesses is a serious game changer and makes up for his deficiency in skills.

Groves is tough and willing but I don't think he is giving Carl the respect he deserves and Groves might get a shock on the night. I really fancy Carl to get the victory here.

Groves is not afraid to punch with fighters, and while it might be his undoing in this fight, it could be the reason he wins.

Froch struggles to land combinations on mobile targets, and often looks pretty amateurish when he's throwing these slow shots with his head in the air. If he does this against Groves then Georgie Boy could easily detonate some serious bombs on his chin. Froch's attacks are too contrived against the top movers, and if Groves just reels him in and gets him to open up, he can dip and land bombs. Then get on his bike at times and frustrate Carl and land rights to the body.

The problem will come late in the fight if Groves fades and gets sloppy. Then even Froch will begin to land enough, and the corkscrew uppercuts might find a home.

    Tough fight to call.

Froch always contradicts himself, but i guess it's hard being an 'international superstar' that only gives respect to boxers he beats. If he gives Ward respect he takes it back in the same sentence. Whenever he talks about respect and being a 'warrior' it's always Kessler this, Kessler that. And yet this is the same Carl Froch that was going to kill Kessler in the ring. As much as i enjoy watching Froch fight, to tell another boxer they are arrogant when your Carl Froch is just laughable.
